UT for Me – Powered by Dell Scholars was created to ensure all Longhorns have access to the resources and support they need for a successful college career. UT for Me students receive a brand-new laptop, textbook credits to purchase course materials, and individualized support to navigate financial, academic, and personal circumstances.
Qualifying students invited to UT for Me are required to complete two simple steps to confirm their attendance in the program. Students must complete these actions prior to the 12th class day of the fall semester of their initial year to receive program benefits:
- Sign the program’s Terms & Conditions
- Complete the program’s initial survey in Canvas, which is UT Austin’s learning management platform and the online home for many courses and for programs like UT for Me. After signing the Terms & Conditions, students will receive an email inviting them to the UT for Me Canvas course.
Before their first fall semester begins, all incoming UT for Me students receive a brand-new laptop that is theirs to keep, ensuring they have the technology to support their current studies and future professional endeavors.
