In addition to the support provided by UT for Me, Pell-eligible freshmen who entered UT Austin from Fall 2020 to Fall 2025 from families with the greatest need became part of the Dell Scholars program at UT Austin and received a financial award of up to $20,000 over their time in college. For Texas residents, this funding was on top of the University’s Texas Advance Commitment, which guaranteed aid to cover the full cost of tuition and fees for Texas families earning $100,000 or less.
